Happy first day of fall! Summer is over and I am writing a review on a daily lotion that I loved using over the last few weeks of summer.

skyn Iceland - The ANTIDOTE Cooling Daily Lotion

The first time I got this product, I received it in a small 15ml tube in one of my Ipsy Bags. I am proud to say that this is one of the first product that I received a sample with the bag that I actually want to and have now repurchased in its full size!

The product wasn't available on Sephora's website last month, but it is now! The full-size bottle is about 52ml and you can pick it up at Sephora for $50 CAD.

So the claims on the Sephora website:

What it is: A lightweight moisturizer for acne, rosacea, or redness.

What it does: The ANTIDOTE Cooling Daily Lotion is a lightweight hydrating tonic for chronically stressed skin. It goes on with a cooling burst to decongest, detoxify, and stabilize moisture levels in the skin, returning it to its natural, fresh, and healthy state. It has pure, natural ingredients that provide highly effective hydration and work over time to fortify and protect skin from the ravages of stress. It keeps pores clean and helps prevent further breakouts while reducing redness, without feeling greasy or heavy.

What it is formulated WITHOUT: Parabens - Sulfates - Phthalates

What else you need to know: This product is free of petroleum, mineral oil, chemical sulfates, fragrance, and dye. It is 100 percent vegan and dermatologist tested for sensitive skin.

According to skyn's site the ingredients listed are:

My Thoughts

I'm giving it the 4 bag because it is a great product but $50 for 50ml is a little steep.

I have oil combo skin and a lot of lotions that I put on after I shower or wash my face, I'll end up like a grease monkey hours later. Waking up with a greasy face is also not fun. The first few times I put it on this past summer (and really all you need is a pea size amount for your whole face and neck), this gel lotion lives up to its' cooling claim! Imagine a cooling lotion that does not require a fan. Amazing! There was a week in August where my face was also experiencing some redness. A couple days of using this and it cleared up. What I'm happiest is waking up and my T-zone and my nose area is not greasy at all!
